Week 11: Advancing Our Concept – The Second WOZ Test

This week, we took a deeper dive into validating our concept through a second Wizard of Oz (WOZ) test. Building on the insights from our first test, we focused on refining the user experience and exploring how participants emotionally connect to the process of documenting their sentimental items.
Using Google Forms, participants described their items, shared memories, and reflected on their significance. At the end of the process, each participant received a personalized memory page in PDF format.
The feedback was heartwarming and insightful. Participants shared how meaningful it was to revisit their memories, with one noting, “It made parting with items feel easier and more thoughtful.” Another highlighted the value of the personalized summary, describing it as both touching and impactful.
While users appreciated the depth of the experience, many suggested simplifying the process to make it more accessible and less time-consuming.
These insights will guide us as we refine the flow, ensuring the experience is both meaningful and easy to use, bringing us closer to creating a truly impactful product.
